wxWidgets 2.9.1 Released
Moldeo uses wxWidgets for its user interface. The reasons for choosing wxWidgets was mainly its cross-platform portability and the fact this framework is open source. So it made sense for to develop the user interface of Moldeo Director with wxWidgets. Now we will upgrade Moldeo Director to the new version and get it ready for wxWidgets 3.0.
Before finishing this post and going back to work, a couple of books to read on wxWidgets. The first one is Cross-Platform Development in C++, it has a very interesting and deep chapter on wxWidgets. It has other interesting stuff as well, such as XUL and cross-platform development as well. The other book is Cross-Platform GUI Programming with wxWidgets. You should read it if you are serious on developing with wxWidgets.
